Easiest method — recommended for most players
1
Download the Modrinth App
Head to modrinth.com/app and download the Modrinth launcher for your operating system. Install and open it.
2
Log in with your Minecraft account
Click the profile icon and sign in using your Microsoft / Mojang account credentials.
3
Find Craft and Conquer
Click Browse in the sidebar, search for Craft and Conquer, and select the pack by IonModding.
4
Install the pack
Click Install. The app will download all mods and configs automatically. This may take a few minutes.
💡 Make sure you're installing version 1.5.4 — the latest release.
5
Allocate RAM and launch
Click the three dots on the pack → EditJava Settings. Set RAM to at least 4 GB (6 GB recommended). Then hit Play.
CurseForge App
Alternative launcher with full CurseForge library
1

Click Install, then once done go to the pack settings and allocate at least 4 GB of RAM before launching.
⚠️ Do not use the default RAM setting — the pack requires more than the CurseForge default of 2 GB.

Hit Play on the Craft and Conquer profile and you're good to go!
Manual Installation
For advanced users using the vanilla launcher or Prism

Download the latest v1.5.4 ZIP from the Modrinth page.
3
Extract mods and configs
Unzip the file. Copy the mods and config folders into your .minecraft directory.
4
Allocate RAM and launch
In your launcher, edit the Fabric 1.21.11 profile and set JVM arguments to include -Xmx4G for 4 GB or -Xmx6G for 6 GB.

Troubleshooting

Game crashes on launch
Make sure you have at least 4 GB allocated to Minecraft. Also confirm you're using Fabric Loader, not Forge.
Missing mod or dependency error
Try reinstalling the pack fresh through your launcher. Do not mix mods from v1.2.0 — that version had missing dependencies.
World chunks look broken after updating
This is a known issue when updating from pre-v1.5.4. Start a new world — updating mid-save is not supported.
Still stuck?
Report your issue on the Modrinth issue tracker with your crash log and the version you're using.
